can i just note that the word ‘materiel’ fits this context and therefore the [sic] is inappropriate

Now think about dogs going to doggy day care and how much fun they have. I bet they have machines that throw balls for them and then they all race for the ball and come back with it. Only one of them has the ball in its mouth but they all get the praise for catching it. They’re all such good, smart, sweet, cute dogs.
